Willie was stationed in India with the R.A.F.in the late 40's early 50's and on his return he met and married his sweetheart Elizabeth whom he was married to for over 40 yrs,until her death in Feb 2005,together they raised a family of 6 children.Dad worked in several jobs throughout his life,but his main calling was in the shipyards,in which he helped paint one of the great ocean liners the 'Q.E.2. In his early day's as a young lad he played soccer with the local football team the 'GREENOCK MORTON' whom he still loved and adored up until his death.
